Are you an active Citibank Online banking user on your computer already? If so, you already have your unique user name and password. You just need to download the Citi Mobile® application to your smartphone and sign on using the same details to take advantage of convenient mobile banking.
If you have never used on-line banking in our bank, you can also register directly in the application. You can use the user name and password defined by you also for signing in to Citibank Online on your computer.
How to begin?
- Register in the app store available on your smartphone (Google Play or App Store)
- Find the free Citi Mobile® application and download it
- When the application icon appears on the screen of your phone, review and accept the Terms and Conditions of the Application and you may start using Citi Mobile®
- Sign on using the same user name and password which you use for signing in to Citibank Online on your computer or register by clicking the “Register” option available in the application’s side menu.
Minimum system requirements for the application as of 15 April 2016:
- iOS 8.0 and higher, devices fully compatible with this operating system,
- Android 4.0.4 and higher, devices fully compatible with this operating system.

Mobile access to your finances
You have your mobile phone with you? This means that you have our bank with you. Sign on to the application on your mobile to check the balance and transactions in your accounts in few seconds, to send a domestic or international transfer, add a new transfer recipient or connect a payment card to a selected account. Citi Mobile® allows you also to manage deposits and check details of your brokerage account.
Innovative: Citi Mobile® Snapshot and Fingerprint Logon
The application comes with the Citi Mobile® Snapshot service thanks to which you don’t have to be logged in to the system to check your personal, savings or credit card account balance and view the last 15 transactions. If you are the Android (min. 6.0) or iOS (Apple iPhone 5s or newer) device user, you can use the Fingerprint Logon service that after recognizing your fingerprint points by a special fingerprint touch sensor allows you to view your all accounts and gives you access to the full account record. As easy as it gets!
Quick credit card repayment in Citi Mobile®
If you have an account and a credit card at Citi Handlowy, you can view both accounts in Citibank Online and Citi Mobile®. You can also quickly repay the credit card debt. Just use the card repayment option, select the account and approve the repayment. Your credit card limit will be updated immediately after clicking.
Connecting a card to a chosen currency account
If you have a personal account at Citi Handlowy, you may open free currency accounts in EUR, GBP and USD and then connect your debit card in Citi Mobile® to a selected account. As of this moment all your transactions made using this card will be settled in the currency of the account to which the card is connected. Thanks to this service you may avoid the costs of currency conversion when withdrawing cash from ATMs or making payments in EUR, GBP and USD.
Make sure that after returning from your trip you again connect the card to your PLN account. You can do this in Citi Mobile®. The bank will not do this automatically.
One-off transfers, SEPA, Citi Global Transfer and recipients management
In Citi Mobile® you may send one-off transfers and transfers to pre-defined recipients: domestic, SWIFT (standard international transfer), SEPA (in EUR, within the European Union), as well as a Citibank Global Transfer (transfer between Citi accounts in different countries). The application allows adding, editing and removing the details of pre-defined recipients.
Deposits management
If you are interested in deposit products of our Bank, you may quickly set up a deposit using Citi Mobile®. The application also allows you to view details of your deposits and change their renewal instructions and to make an early withdrawal.
Topping up mobile phones
You are using a pre-paid mobile and want to conveniently top up the account with additional funds for calls, SMS and the Internet? Just sign in to Citi Mobile® to top up the account of any mobile phone number in a matter of seconds!

We would like to draw your attention to a number of basic principles that will increase mobile banking safety.
- Always use the latest software version for the device that you use for mobile banking. The device’s operating system will notify you of the latest software version becoming available. Remember that such notification is never sent via a text message.
- Install and update your apps (including Citi Mobile®) only through official AppStore or Google Play/Sklep Play shops.
- Do not update your apps using links sent by text messages or e-mails. Only use trusted WiFi networks.
- Install anti-virus apps and keep them up-to-date.
- Use the Citi Mobile® Snapshot service if you are sure that your phone is not being used by other people.
Additionally, for devices with Android OS:
- Turn on system security settings,
- Turn on the function blocking installation of apps from unknown sources.
