Lukasz Osowski and Michal Kaszczuk, recognized as the best Polish microentrepreneus by Citibank Handlowy's Kronenberg Foundation, won the Blizzard Challenge, an international competition held in Pittsburg. World class experts recognized "Ivona" speech synthesizer as the best technology for human speech production. According to their opinion, the IVONA synthesizer's voice quality and naturalness is definitely the best and leaves other producers far behind.

Developed by Polish microentrepreneurs, the synthesizer allows the visually impared to use a computer. It may be used as a tool for reading news on internet sites, or automatically provide information via telephone in telecommunication.
