Additional information regarding closed cash deposits:
- Funds are credited to your company account no later than on the next business day after payment
- The bank is responsible for control and ongoing monitoring of deposit cash flows
- No minimum or maximum deposit amount
Closed cash deposits need to be delivered to the bank along with one of the following Bank Deposit Slip (BDS) options:
a) a traditional BDW which is processed manually by the bank
or
b) an electronic bank slip (eBDS) which is processed automatically by scanning the QR code
Using an eBDS prevents errors that can occur when posting cash deposits (in the payment details, account number). The same content in the QR code will be presented on the bank account statement. The bank delivers to the client the eBDS, which is used to input payment details electronically in the deposit confirmation. Next, the client prints the confirmation with the QR code, which enables the bank to make automatic entries in the client’s account.
Cash deposits can be connected with the SpeedCollect service to enable easy allocation of receivables.
SpeedCollect enables reconciliation automation of incoming payments by using commonly used financial and accounting systems. Thanks to virtual accounts, it is possible to generate electronic reports on cash deposits. This eliminates delays in the process of reconciliation and booking cash deposits as well as ensures more effective cash management.
