Important Information

The Foreign Currency Instruction available in the Citi Kantor shall mean an order to execute an immediate transaction between a base currency and a target currency in a defined amount submitted by the Customer with the rate of conversion accepted by the Customer. The base currency is understood as a currency in which Customer owns the funds on a defined Bank Account or a Bank Sub-Account. The target currency is understood as the currency into which the funds in the base currency are to be converted during the execution of the currency order. In the Citi Kantor the Foreign Currency Instruction may be placed via remote channels. The exchange rates for Foreign Currency Instructions that are shown in the Citi Kantor include a commission which depends on the exchange amount and the date. The exchange rates displayed in Citi Kantor apply to transactions starting from 1 USD or its equivalent in other currencies. When submitting the Foreign Currency Instruction, the Customer specifies: the side of the transaction and the currency pair (currency to be sold and to be bought), the amount of the transaction and the accounts to be settled. Before executing the Foreign Currency Instruction, the Customer has the opportunity to get acquainted with the exchange rate and the time presented for acceptance of the exchange rate proposed by the bank. An executed Foreign Currency Instruction may not be canceled, and the Customer may not withdraw from the transaction. Usage of the Citi Kantor is free of charge, except for the commission included in the exchange rate.

Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction shall mean an instruction submitted by the Customer to perform a transaction of conversion of a base currency into a target currency in the amount indicated by the Customer, at the exchange rate indicated by the Customer. In the Citi Kantor the Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction may be submitted via remote channels for a specified period of time (maximum 2 months). During the time that the order is pending execution the Customer may modify its parameters (type, expiry date or the indicated exchange rate of execution) using the Citi Kantor. If the exchange rate indicated by the Customer is not obtained, the Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction submitted for a specified period of time expires upon the lapse of period for which it has been submitted or in the event of its cancellation by the Customer before execution. The Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction is executed only on business days as soon as the exchange rate requested by the Customer materializes.

Through Citi Kantor, the Customer may submit the following types of the Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction:

• limit order - the transaction will be executed at the defined rate by the Customer as soon as the exchange rate requested by the Customer materializes. The Limit Order gives you the option to buy or sell the currency at a more favorable rate than the current exchange rate
• stop order - the transaction will be executed at a rate equal to or higher than the rate indicated by the Customer (buy order) or at a rate equal to or lower than the rate indicated by the Client (for a sell order) as soon as the required exchange rate materializes. This order gives the Customer the option to adjust losses or buy / sell currencies after the exchange rate exceeds the required level.
• if done (ID) – a combination of two Contingent Foreign Currency Instructions whereby instruction II is considered submitted by the Customer if instruction I has been executed beforehand;
• one cancels the other (OCO) – a combination of two Contingent Foreign Currency Instructions whereby if one of the instructions is executed, the other is automatically canceled; the first Contingent Currency Instruction to be executed is the one whose exchange rate materializes earlier;
• if completed, one cancels the other (IOCO) – a combination of three instructions whereby instructions II and III are considered submitted by the Customer after execution of instruction I; if one of the other Contingent Foreign Currency Instructions (II or III) is executed, the third remaining Contingent Foreign Currency Instruction is canceled; and the first instruction to be executed is the one whose exchange rate materializes earlier.

In terms of the usage of the Citi Kantor service, the Customer may use the notification service consisting of sending the Customer SMS messages as part of the SMS Notification service and / or electronic messages (e-mail messages) to the Primary Mobile Number and / or Primary E-mail Address indicated by the Customer, containing information indicated by the Customer during the activation or modification of the settings of the notification service about the occurrence of the assumed exchange rate.
