Smishing is a method to steal money from your bank accounts using text messages. A fraudster sends you a text message that urges you to take action by providing your bank app or transaction system user ID and password, your credit card data, PIN, or making a transfer or clicking on an attached linked. Find out how to protect yourself from fraud.
Phishing emails are fraudulent emails that appear to be sent from a trusted source but are in fact designed to trick you into revealing valuable data such as your user ID, password, credit card details, and One-Time-Pin. Such messages may also contain a link to the fake website of your bank's transaction service, which looks almost identical to the original one.
